Hyperplastic growth in the soft palate

A 75 year old lady attended the surgery for a routine examination. The medical history showed that she was taking Omeprazole. Teeth and gums looked ok but a small growth in the soft palate, close to the middle line caught my attention. Size about 4 mm in diameter. Patient has been referred to the Maxillo-Facial Unit at the local hospital for biopsy and diagnosis.
