Teeth Whitening

A lady in her mid-thirties contacted the surgery for advice regarding her smile and the discoloured front teeth. We discussed the option of teeth whitening and the patient agreed to the treatment.

We decided to use Polaoffice+ from SDI. A treatment that took place in the dental chair. The total amount of time the session took was one hour. The teeth were treated with 37.5 % hydrogen peroxide. The Whitening gel was applied to the teeth for 8 minutes and that was repeated three times. After the treatment the patient did not complain about any sensitivity and was very pleased with the results. The treatment was easy and quick and can be performed by a hygienist or a trained nurse under supervision of a dentist.
