New UK Dental Web Site Offers Continuing Professional Development Hours (CPD) to Dental Professionals

A new web site www.sharedental.co.uk will be open for dental professionals in the UK this April.
The site will offer the members of the dental team CPD hours.
The web site's aim is to provide members with affordable online CPD and is also hoping that dental professionals will be able to discuss their ideas and share new techniques on the site's forum.
All dentists must complete 250 hours of CPD every five-years to remain on the UK Dentists Register.
On the 1st of August the rest of the dental care professionals (DCPs) will be required to complete and record 150 hours of continuing professional development every five years, a third of which should be verifiable (50 hours). On the same date registration will be compulsory for dental nurses and technicians.
